24/7 emergency electrician call-out

Loss of power, a tripping RCD, scorched sockets or a burning smell are all reasons to stop using the circuit and call an electrician. Certi runs a round-the-clock call-out desk staffed by qualified, insured electricians who make the installation safe first and explain the repair options after.

What's covered

Scope of work

Total or partial loss of power

Supply checks, main fuse and consumer unit diagnosis, isolation of the faulty circuit so the rest of the property stays live.

Repeated tripping

Insulation resistance and earth fault loop testing to find the circuit at fault instead of guessing.

Burning smells and scorching

Immediate isolation, thermal inspection of terminations, replacement of damaged accessories.

Water ingress and flood damage

Safe isolation, drying assessment and re-energisation only once the installation tests safe.

Failed landlord safety checks

Remedial work to close out C1 and C2 observations from an EICR, with documentation.

    Attend and make safe

The engineer isolates the fault and restores every circuit that is safe to use.

  3. 03

    Diagnose and quote

Test results and a fixed price for the permanent repair, before any further work.

  4. 04

    Document it

A minor works or installation certificate lands in your compliance vault.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can an electrician attend?+

Within our core London coverage we target attendance inside two hours for genuine emergencies, and we tell you the honest ETA on the call rather than after you have booked.

What counts as an electrical emergency?+

Burning smells, smoke, exposed live conductors, shocks from appliances or taps, water on electrical equipment, and total loss of power are all emergencies. Isolate the supply if it is safe to do so and call immediately.

Will you fix it on the first visit?+

Most faults are repaired the same visit. Where a part has to be ordered, we leave the installation safe and give you a fixed price and a return slot.

Do I get paperwork?+

Yes. Every job produces either a minor electrical installation works certificate or an electrical installation certificate, stored in your Certi vault.
